Wine Tasting at Hobson's Choice, Swindon

The first of our Wine Tasting evenings in collaboration with Vinifera Wine Club took place at our flagship Swindon showroom on Monday 30th April. Wine Expert and Club Founder, Pilar Bazan, presented a collection of wines from Castilla y León, Extremadura and Tuscany to an audience of invited guests.

Before guests put the wine to their lips each wine was introduced, Pilar spoke about the respective region, the producer and the design of bottle before discussing the aromas and expected tastes. Throughout the wine tasting, guests were encouraged to openly express their thoughts and feelings about each wine. Groups of guests gathered around the bulthaup kitchen displays were quick to evaluate and share their feedback as soon as each new glass was poured.

The wine tasting was the launch-pad for an entirely new collection of wines from Tuscany, Italy recommended by Vinifera Wine Club. Carefully selected by Pilar Bazan during a recent trip, the deep-reds created a great deal of conversation and consideration amongst the audience.
