With less than 4-weeks until the big day, our festive showroom windows have begun to take shape in Bath and Winchester. Our theme this year is ‘handmade’ with illuminated paper stars, locally sourced Christmas trees, and designer-built gingerbread houses all part of the displays.

Designers, Pieter du Toit and Natasha Townsend, were challenged to build and decorate a Lakeland Gingerbread house construction kit. The results of which would be presented in the showroom windows for all to see.

With pride at stake, Pieter was first to complete his build, creating an impressive house with faultless icing decoration.

Pieter had set the bar incredibly high. Adding to Natasha's construction challenge, her build was to be completed in front of the showroom window whilst being watched by passers-by and filmed! With the stage set, the camera captured the time-lapse highlights of the build, which you can view for yourself below.

You can judge for yourself who you feel created the best gingerbread house. We think they are both brilliant and look forward to seeing the Swindon showroom build this week.
