When I joined hobsons|choice nearly 5 years ago it was clear that the company shared my passion for interior design and quality craftsmanship. My skills quickly developed due to the open nature of the design team, each person was happy to share their skills and expertise whilst involving me in their individual projects.
As a Design Consultant I feel there are three main focuses of my role; firstly, creating designs that reflect and, ultimately exceed our customer’s requirements. I achieve this by spend time getting to know my customers, their lifestyle and the functional needs of the space. I know the products hobsons|choice offer our customers are of the highest quality so my designs must always be of equal value.
Secondly, project management. At hobsons|choice every customer has a dedicated designer who oversees their project from start to completion. The one to one approach simplifies customer communications and allows me to plan effectively. As a company we aim to keep the customer fully informed whilst causing the least amount of inconvenience to their everyday life.
The third, and in my opinion, the most important part of my role is to deliver great customer service. I take pride in my work and enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with my customers; I relish the challenge of balancing the customers desires, considering their home aesthetic and providing new ideas which amaze and enhance their initial thoughts.
