I started at hobsons|choice in the year 2000 having gained a solid accountancy background working for large corporations. I was attracted to the greater level of responsibility that comes with working in a smaller team and the interesting kitchen and bathrooms designs I saw in the Swindon showroom.
My varied role means no two days are ever the same and I continue to learn new skills, it is the need to remain on top of legislation and external deadlines for the benefit of the company that makes the job enjoyable. I have a love for numbers and an eye for detail which is essential to keep the hobsons|choice accounts in order with so many projects going on at any one time.
Our showroom in Swindon is amazing; I particularly like the lunchtime tradition of sitting down with the rest of the team around a Ronald Schmitt dining table and discussing the latest goings on as a family. It is this friendly, group interaction that makes working at hobsons|choice so pleasurable.
