The team at hobsons|choice are delighted to have been selected as a finalist in the KBB Awards 2012, for Kitchen Retailer of the Year. We look forward to attending the awards ceremony to be held in Birmingham in March. The Kitchen Retailer of the Year Award is a prize that judges the overall business to establish the best retailer in the industry.

It covers the quality of the showroom, customer service, business plans, overall strategy and financial success and establishes the business as the perfect example for any kitchen retailer.

It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team at hobsons|choice that we have been recognised as one of the top four kitchen retailers in the UK.

'Its not what you know, its who you know.' Thankfully for hobsons|choice we know kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces however we are always looking to introduce ourselves to new and potential customers.

The opportunity to sponsor and exhibit at the RSAW conference in front of Wales' best architects was too good to miss so we created an eye-catching stand featuring a bulthaup b2 kitchen and set off to Cardiff.

Held at the Chapter centre in Cardiff's bustling artist district the conference attracted over 80 architects from across Wales and the West. Each was treated to talks from leading figures in the industry and award-winning architects.

Richard Carter (MD), Helen Norrvall (Senior Designer) and Graham Craig (Marketing Coordinator) engaged with many architects throughout the day. Armed with the new hobsons|choice brochure and a wealth of bulthaup information,s discussions focused on the high quality service and consultative expertise hobsons|choice can provide to an architecture project.

The day was a great success, we met many new and exciting people whilst learning how hobsons|choice can offer value and support to the architecture industry.

A wonderful evening of great food and wine was enjoyed by all who attended the Christmas Cookery Demonstration held in our showroom. 

Hosted by Peter Vaughan of the Bistro in Devizes, guests were introduced to numerous dishes that can be created using Celeriac.  We also received step by step instruction in how to make the perfect soufflé along with hints and tips on knife skills. 

We will be running similar evenings in the showroom every couple of months, so please get in touch if you would like to be added to the guest list.

In celebration of Michele’s 30th year of service for hobsons|choice held a surprise party in Michele’s honour. 

The party was attended by hobsons|choice colleagues past and present. 

Peter Vaughn from the Bistro in Devizes cooked an incredible meal whilst educating and entertaining all the guests in his in amicable style.
